Allyson Smith

Allyson Smith is the owner and lead stylist of Allyson’s Chair Bridal Hair and Makeup, a North Carolina based bridal beauty team specializing in timeless, elevated hair and makeup for weddings. Originally from Durham, NC, Allyson turned her lifelong passion for beauty into a career after attending East Carolina University and completing cosmetology school.

She founded Allyson’s Chair in 2018 and has since worked with over 250 weddings, receiving professional training with brands such as Merle Norman, Jane Iredale, and Temptu airbrushing, as well as alongside licensed cosmetologists, estheticians, and award winning bridal stylists, including Ash and Co. Bridal Hair in Charleston, SC.

Known for her calm presence and attention to detail, Allyson is passionate about helping brides feel confident, supported, and like the best version of themselves on their wedding day. She lives in Franklinton, North Carolina with her husband Darren and their two fur babies, Lady and Rip.
